We were on the road by 0845 and it was already hot! There was a really nice stretch of Hwy 94 that was primitive asphalt and virtually no traffic.
Like yesterday, the afternoon rain came hard and fast. We pulled over to don our raingear, but by the time we had it on, we were already soaked. We pulled over to wait out the worst of it, but when we finally got to a hotel, we were more than ready to be done riding and dry off for the night.
