Today was by far the best day on Ruta 3. The wind was finally gone and we got to enjoy smooth riding. We rode all day and pulled in to a YPF gas station at 1600. After finding out they had free camping in the back, it was an easy choice to stay here for the night.
We were looking forward to a good night’s sleep. Unfortunately, our camping neighbours were just starting to prepare dinner on the community camp grill by our tents at 2215. They finally went to bed around 0100. That seems to be the theme here in South America. They eat dinner late and stay up late, then need their siesta the next day.
